Archbishop Costelloe talks about Faith
Archbishop Timothy Costelloe said that faith is not only belief but also trust, in a pre-installation video-interview he gave to The Faith Centre on 20 March.
“Faith is really about us trusting ourselves to God,” he said.
He said that trust means that everything we believe about Christ and the Church must become the motivation of our hearts for all that we do.
This sort of trust enables us to do whatever God wants us to at any time, and to do it with confidence, without fear even when we don’t know how it will turn out.
