Pope to Open Domus Australia today

Pope Benedict XVI will officially open Domus Australia - Australia House - Australia's first pilgrim centre in Rome today, 19 October at 5.30pm ROME TIME.
Archbishop Barry Hickey and Auxiliary Bishop Don Sproxton will be there with a host of Australian Bishops who are in Rome for their Ad Limina Apostolorum meeting this month, 10-22 October.

This is a significant moment because it will be the first time the Australian Church has had a base in Rome.

The Official Opening of Domus Australia by Pope Benedict XVI will be broadcast LIVE.
