Seeking 1 x Permanent Part-time (2 days: Mon & Tues) and Casuals
 

The Administration Assistant is an integral part of a team that is dedicated to assisting in the pastoral care aspect of the Tribunal of the Catholic Church, Province of Western Australia (“Tribunal”). The Tribunal is Western Australia's regional Tribunal for all formal cases of marriage annulment and for all Archdiocesan-related judicial and administrative cases.

The Administration Assistant role is primarily to provide administrative support for the Tribunal under the general supervision of the Judicial Vicar. Key responsibilities include: to monitor case status, take minutes & transcribe with high accuracy. Strong interpersonal skills are imperative, along with flexibility and excellent time management skills, and the ability to prioritise.

The successful candidate must have a willingness and capacity to support the Catholic ethos. As well as:

  • Strong interpersonal skills, including friendly and understanding telephone manner
  • High level of confidentiality
  • Prior experience in an administration role
  • Advanced word processing and typing skills
  • Mature and flexible outlook
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Ability to take minutes with high accuracy
  • Time management skills

A valid National Police Clearance and proof of Right to Work in Australia required.
