New Norcia Annual Institute/Theology Day

The New Norcia Institute for Benedictine Studies presents guest speaker, Fr Luigi Gioia OSB, a monk from the Abbey of Monte Oliveto Maggiore in Siena, Italy. Fr Luigi is also the Professor of Systematic Theology and Monastic Studies at the Pontifical University of San Anselmo in Rome. He completed his doctorate in Systematic Theology at the University of Oxford with a thesis on Augustine’s De Trinitate. His examiners were Rev Dr Rowan Williams, Archbishop of Canterbury, and Professor Oliver O’Donovan. The thesis was published by the Oxford University Press in 2008.
Cost: $50.00 (conc $35.00), including morning tea and lunch. Saturday, 8 August, 10.00am-3.00pm.
