Welcome. School’s back! The first day of the new school year has always been a wonderful time because children are so full of enthusiasm and the desire to do well. Even families without school-age children can sense this feeling in the air, rather like the first days of spring. Teachers, as you prepare for the new year, I hope you will encourage their enthusiasm because the longer it lasts, the more successful the children will be. Parents, please remember that you will always be the most important influence in shaping the kind of people your children become.
