Archbishop Hickey is on retreat, praying for us all. This is our message for Fathers’ Day.

When couples marry, they marry for life … and they promise to love one another FOR life.

However; many families break up, and children are forced to live apart from at least one parent.

Parents, children and our society suffer.

The way out of difficulties in family life is to ask yourself: “Does my behaviour come from love?” Ask this about your anger, criticism, drinking, gambling, judgement or unkindness.

The answer inside you reveals the way to end the problem.

Your family matters to all of us, so please preserve it.

May Our Heavenly Father be with you.
