Catholic Archdiocese of Perth

During a youth consultation in May 2005, I was repeatedly urged to find some way to appear regularly on television to remind the community about God and the important values that flow from our knowledge of God.

Accordingly, I arranged to make one-minute presentations during the Sunday evening news on Channel 9. This series ran weekly under the banner "Today's Comment" from August 2005 to the end of December 2007.

Now, to reach as many people as possible, I have expanded my media initiative.

Commencing on 29 June 2008, my commercials under the new banner of "OUR SOCIETY" will be broadcast during peak viewing times on Channel 7, Channel 9 and Channel 10. Of course, these commercials will only be shown on an infrequent schedule, I do hope that you will have a chance of seeing one "live" next time you are watching the news or your favourite program.
