St John of God Retreat Centre is located in Shoalwater near Rockingham, approximately one hour drive south of Perth. The centre is set on 5 acres of landscaped gardens opposite the ocean. The facilities are suited for retreats, conferences and training.

"Ferns House" has 28 single rooms and is located opposite the beach. All rooms have ensuites, independent heating and cooling facilities and 18 of the single rooms have a king-size single bed. There is also a 2 bedroom self contained flat available. All meals are provided when staying in Ferns House. Linen is supplied, with the exception of beach towels, and personal laundry facilities are available.

The conference room can accommodate 50 with a separate tea and coffee room. There are also several smaller meeting rooms available. Television dvd/video player, cd player, electronic whiteboard, flipchart pa system and photocopier are available for use in the conference area. The Chapel seats 50 and provides space for prayer, meditation and liturgical celebration.

"Sea View Units" consist of 3 self contained units. They are located opposite the beach. Each unit consists of 4 bedrooms, (1 double 2 twins and 1 single ) 3 bathrooms, large lounge, dining room and fully equipped kitchen and laundry. All linen is supplied with the exception of beach towels.
