PBVM - Presentation Sisters
Congregation of the Presentation Sisters (WA) Inc.

The order was founded by Honora (Nano) Nagle in 1775 at Cork, Ireland. The Western Australia Congregation was formed in 1969 by the union of two former autonomous congregations, Geraldton (which was found in 1891 by Mother M Joseph O'Connell, from Sneem, Ireland), and Perth (which was founded in 1900 by Mother M Angela Treacey, from Hay, New South Wales, Australia.

The six autonomous Congregations in Australia (viz Lismore, Queensland, Tasmania, Victoria, Wagga Wagga and Western Australia) together form the Society of Australian Presentation Congregations. Internationally, there exists an International Presentation Association, the membership of which includes autonomous Presentation Congregations around the world.
