Order of Preacher

Founded by St Dominic Guzman in 1216 at Toulouse, France. Introduced to Australia from Ireland by Fr Robert William Spence OP (later Archbishop of Adelaide) in 1898 in the Archdiocese of Adelaide. First WA community established at Innaloo Parish in 1954.
