Congregation of the Most Holy Redeemer

Founded by St Alphonsus de Ligouri in 1732 at Scala, Italy. It was introduced into Australia in the Diocese of Maitland, NSW, from England by Very Rev Edmund Vaughn CSsR in 1882. First WA community established at North Perth in 1899.
