A Moral Order

Welcome.

Conferences and reports on homelessness just keep on coming. And yet little changes.

Waiting lists for housing increase daily. Rising rents and mortgages force out families and individuals, and they either crowd in with relatives or look for the few emergency shelters or end up living on the streets.

Many people out there, living rough, have mental health problems or addictions.

I know because I get involved in trying to house the homeless, sadly with little success.

Find ways of befriending the homeless and get involved.

Lets talk about this publicly, write letters to our politicians and support organizations that are battling to change things. Make sure something changes for the homeless.

I'm Barry Hickey, Catholic Archbishop of Perth.

I need your help to continue this media initiave

Photo of Archbishop HickeyI believe that God’s love burns deep inside all of us. For those who choose not to invite God into their lives, the flames may flicker – but they still exist. These messages may be just “the spark that ignites the flames of faith for someone”...

Thousands of people have visited this website and many have been kind enough to send messages of support, urging me to continue.

I can only do so with your generous help!

I ask that you make a gift in support of my media initiative and help me continue this evangelical mission.

Please... click here to download the donation form (PDF) and mail your gift today, or telephone (08) 9223 1300 and donate by credit card.

Every gift will be gratefully received. Donations are not tax deductible. However receipts will be provided in recognition of your support.

Thank you and God bless,
Yours sincerely in Jesus Christ.
