Welcome. Freedom is a good thing, something we want. Sadly, there are very different ideas about what freedom means. Many think freedom means doing whatever we like with no restrictions. The truth is that freedom is a gift that enables us to choose what is right. Freedom is a force for growth and maturity in truth and goodness. True freedom is found in the service of what is good. The more we do what is good the freer we become. Believers find their Church is the organisation which offers the greatest understanding, support and friendship in the pursuit of true freedom Lets enjoy the freedoms that we have and make sure we use them wisely I'm Barry Hickey, Catholic Archbishop of Perth.
