Welcome. In September we celebrate Father's Day, but our real need is to celebrate fatherhood. Life is much better for men, women and children when men take fatherhood seriously. A man's love and respect for his wife is the foundation of the personal security his children draw from their mother. This becomes the strength they rely on when they establish their own families. Fathers whose lifestyle shows the importance of the virtues of honesty, nobility and faithfulness are the best fathers. Today, when families and society are fragmenting, there is an urgent need for men to dedicate themselves to the loving responsibility of fatherhood. Our heavenly Father will help you in your role as fathers. I'm Barry Hickey, Catholic Archbishop of Perth.
