Welcome. It seems to be fashionable today to deny the existence of God, but denying God does not help in the search for meaning. People everywhere have always had a sense of the transcendent, of god in some form. The belief that we are more than the chemicals that make us up lies deep within us. We recognize that we are spiritual beings as well as material. We have in the core of our being a thirst for fulfillment, almost an echo of the divine. We sense it in silence, in the wonders of nature that we didn’t create, and we see it in the goodness of people. God is not just an impersonal creator.
