Since 1966, Southern Cross Care (WA) Inc. has been committed to helping almost 3,000 Western Australians across our State access a choice of quality care services in their own homes or at one of our 17 retirement villages and residential aged care homes. With more than 900 staff and 250 volunteers, we are a significant employer in the ageing and healthcare community in Western Australia.  

Residential Care:  

Residential aged care homes at Southern Cross Care provide our residents and their families a continuum of care in comfortable and homely environments, including respite, dementia care and palliative care. Our specialist and multidisciplinary teams are equipped to respond to the increasingly complex care needs of our ageing residents. Our nine residential care homes offer quality living, promote a strong sense of community and a spirit of involvement. All of our residents have tailored individual care plans, activity and dietary plans, along with access to on-site nursing staff, dementia care professionals and specialised equipment.  

Home Care:  

Our range of home care services support people to maintain their independence and stay at home, as long as it is practicable. Our customers have direct access to our specialist dementia and clinical care teams to provide appropriate clinical intervention, should their care needs become more complex. The focus on wellness and the importance of supporting people to maintain their independence is at the forefront of our home care service philosophy.  

Retirement Villages:  

Southern Cross Care offers a range of retirement living villages in Perth and the South West. Our villages are designed to suit a range of lifestyle and budget considerations. Residents choose to live in our retirement villages for the atmosphere, social inclusion, enjoyment and access to other Southern Cross Care services as well as all the activities they love in their local community. Our independent living communities are renowned for their great feeling of community spirit and we achieve a relaxed living environment for all residents to enjoy. In many cases our villages are also co-located with a residential aged care home or respite centre. Socialising is encouraged whilst respecting residents' choice for privacy.
